COCOFINA COCONUT WATER LEGEND AND LITERATURE
Coconuts have been feted in journals and novels ever since British seafarer, buccaneer, trader and naturalist William Dampier (1652-1715) - who circumnavigated the world three times - noted that:
“While it is young and soft like Pap, some Men will eat it, scraping it with a spoon, after they have drunk the Water that was within it. I like the water best when the nut is almost ripe, for then it is sweetest and briskest.”
