A note on coconut aminos

Coconut aminos are not a direct replica of soy sauce. They are brewed and aged from coconut blossom nectar — the result is naturally sweeter and milder than soy sauce, with a lighter consistency.

If you are expecting an identical taste to soy sauce, you will notice the difference. That is not a flaw — it is what coconut aminos are. Soy-free, gluten-free, and with a flavour that works differently in cooking.

Use it in stir fries, marinades, dressings and dipping sauces. Start with the same quantity you would use for soy sauce and adjust to taste. Some people use half aminos, half soy sauce while they get used to it.

Great product. Had it before, unfortunately, part of the plastic insert was missing so too much came out when I poured

It doesn't taste like Soy Sauce

The seller and service was fine. But, unfortunately, it doesn't taste much like soy sauce as many people suggest, and i didnt like the weird sweet flavour.

The perfect substitute for soya sauce

I love this stuff, and now I've discovered it I need some in my cupboard at all times. The perfect healthy substitute for soya sauce, it's great in stir fries, stews and sauces.

Good product

Got this as I’m on paleo. It’s a good substitute for soya sauce. I only use it in cooking and not as a dip. Good product.

EWWWWWW

This smells like vinegar and when I used it on a roast in the oven the whole house was stinking it mad me choke. I bought this as I thought it was a substitute for soy sauce. I was wrong. It also tasted awful. What a waste of money. Just use your normal soy sauce if on keto it will not damage your diet and it is a hell of a lot cheaper.

Perfect substitute

I have a child who is dairy and soya free, we bought this as we always struggled with stir fries or oriental style cooking as most flavourings and sauces contain soya. This tastes amazing in stir fry’s and my little boy loves it

Really good soy substitute!

I had stopped making Chinese or other dishes which needed soy sauce but this has changed that ! Tastes like soy and enhances the flavour of dishes .

Just like soy sauce

I love this ao much it tastes like soy sauce but without the soy!!! I cook with it a lot but carefully because it is very salty so if the food already has enough salt it can make it too salty

Good if you can afford it

I am a huge Soy Sauce user. I cook loads of Asian food and go through 3 or 4 bottles a week. I've been meaning to try Coconut Aminos for ages simply for the health benefits. This purchase was my first experience with it.Taste - It's not exactly like soy sauce... but it's still good. I find the Coconut Aminos taste to be milder (the consistency is also a bit more watery than traditional soy sauce) and yet the taste is somehow more tangy at the same time. What I've been doing is using half Coconut Aminos and half regular Soy Sauce in order to meet somewhere in the middle. I plan to gradually use more and more Aminos as I get used to the taste.Price - Compared to regular Soy Sauce, it's obviously quite high. (However it's rare to find it cheaper anywhere else other than Amazon - I've checked). But, if you can afford it, the health benefits definitely justify this purchase. And if you are someone who uses as much Soy Sauce as me, I suggest finding a balance and mixing the two together or alternating with one or the other depending on the strength of flavour needed for the dish.Overall I will definitely continue using it alongside Soy Sauce, in the hopes of substituting it in as much as possible as a healthier option.
