100% ground organic coconut — the whole meat, not just the oil. Nothing removed, nothing added.

Unlike coconut oil which is extracted fat only, coconut butter contains the full coconut meat including fibre. Nutty flavour, naturally thick texture. Use in cooking, baking, curries, or spread directly.

Naturally solid at room temperature. Warm gently to soften.

A note on coconut butter

Coconut butter is made from 100% ground whole coconut — the meat, not just the oil. It contains no additives, no stabilisers, nothing to alter its natural state.

At room temperature and below, coconut butter sets completely solid. This is normal. It is not a defect and it has not gone off.

To use it, place the jar in a bowl of hot water — a bain-marie — for 10 to 15 minutes. The butter will soften and become spreadable. Stir well before use as the coconut oil and coconut cream naturally separate.

You can do this as many times as you like. The butter will set solid again when it cools and can be re-warmed repeatedly without any loss of quality.

Once softened it works as a spread, a cooking ingredient, or straight from the spoon. Store at room temperature if you use it regularly — it stays softer in a warm kitchen.
